Inc., a privately owned beverage distribution firm, has
acquired Hometown Distributing of Chicago. The announcement
was made today by Cecil Troutwine, Partner, SOAVE
DISTRIBUTORS.
SOAVE DISTRIBUTORS will continue the existing wholesale
services to the Chicago area immediately under its new name:
CITY BEVERAGE-CHICAGO. “This acquisition, combined with our
existing operations of CHICAGO BEER, now gives Soave
Distributors control of more than 10 million cases of beer
annually in Chicago.”
Michael Flynn, formerly Vice-President, Sales for CHICAGO
BEER in Markham, Illinois, becomes president of CITY
BEVERAGE-CHICAGO.
“CITY BEVERAGE-CHICAGO is committed to providing quality
wholesale beverage services to the Chicago area,” said
Flynn, who will oversee CITY BEVERAGE-CHICAGO’s wholesale
business.
CITY BEVERAGE-CHICAGO, which is located at 4841 S.
California Avenue, Chicago, will continue the distribution
of Anheuser-Busch brands, Barton Beer brands, and Interbrew
beer brands while improving services to existing and
potential customers. CITY BEVERAGE-CHICAGO employs
approximately 70 people.
SOAVE DISTRIBUTORS, INC., is co-owned by Cecil Troutwine and
Tony Soave. They bring more than 30 years of wholesale
